This is a picture from a few years ago. Today I will join some author friends at Hooker, OK to meet with the Friends of the Library at the Olive Warner Memorial Library. I am excited to listen to Carla Stewart and Sherilyn Polf as they speak to the members. I am hoping to go last for my speech. This event is one of my favorites. The people here are so KIND. I was trying to think of a perfect word for them, but there isn't only one. They are warm, friendly, and much more, but mostly kind.
