Working Vacation-Picture of the Day

This year Terry decided to take a week for a working vacation. Yesterday he put a coat of deck over on the "baby deck" at the front door and removed boards on "Melchezedeck" (the big deck) and also "Junior deck". Then he went to the lumber yard and bought replacement boards. It has been so dry here for several years, the boards that had a lot of moisture in them when they were screwed down, shrunk by an inch and got really deep cracks in them.

After he finishes laying down the new boards, he will put the first deck over coating on them. He has to get that part done before it gets to 90 degrees. It is already 84 degrees so he is really getting after it.

We had coffee on the patio next to the waterfall he made a few years ago. He wants to work on it this week, so there will be pictures. Our oldest granddaughter told him a few years ago that the waterfall looked like a pile of rocks. lol. She was pretty little when she said that. Kids tell it like it is sometimes.
